Why I am running:

I am running for the Worcester School Committee for District E because I believe every child deserves access to an education that prepares them for the challenges of the future. Having grown up in this community, I understand the importance of support and opportunity in a student’s success. My goal is to ensure all students in District E receive the same chance to develop skills like problem-solving, communication, and critical thinking. Education should go beyond meeting basic standards; it should equip students to succeed and strengthen our community as a whole. I am committed to working toward this vision for every student in District E.

Who is Noelia?

I’m Noelia M. Chafoya, a proud American Salvadoran, born and raised in Worcester. Raised by a strong single mother in a bilingual household as the eldest of three, I learned the value of hard work, resilience, and community. A proud Worcester Public School graduate (Go Polar Bears!), I earned a full scholarship to Assumption University through the YMCA, where I earned a degree in Business Marketing and a minor in Human Services & Rehabilitation.

Today, as a Management Consultant at SEI, I help organizations align their goals, improve processes, and create lasting impact. I’m passionate about empowering people and driving positive change.

As a single mother to a wonderful 4-year-old, I’m deeply committed to ensuring all students in Worcester, especially District E, have the opportunity to succeed. With my business background and love for Worcester, I am dedicated to bringing innovative solutions that strengthen our school system and equip our students for success.
